Botox is made by Allerga, a drug company and everyone who uses buys the same standard bottle at the same cost. The bottle contains 100 units. typically horizontal lines on the forehead require 20 units. The commas on lines near the eyebrows require 20-30 units. Men have heavier muscles in this area and will need the 30 units, while women need 20 units.If both areas are done expect 40 units. Crows feet need up to 16 units for both sides. If all three areas are treated you would need 56 units. The process is quoted as per unit or per area. The forehead, the commas, and crows feet are 3 different areas. Botox should always be injected while sitting up , not lying down and you should not lie down for 4 hours after injections. It takes 5-10, to see the effect. In some people,they may need an adjustment, an extra few units a week later.It is better to need extra than to put too much in. Botox lasts about 4 months.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal should be done a minimum of 4 weeks apart. Expect 4-6 sessions to reach a successful outcome. Lasers do not work well on light colored hair. If the hair is grey, i recommend electrolysis.For lighter skin people the Alexandrite laser by Candela is a good choice. It is comfortable and gives good results. Sometimes on the chin is is useful to combine medical treatment with laser. The addition of a prescription cream or water pill can weaken the hairs to make the laser work better.This option is not available at spas or salons.
